PM Modi highlights role of youth, women in society’s success

New Delhi: Prime minister Narendra Modi on Thursday emphasized the importance of youth and women in ensuring a society’s success and prosperity during a video message at the 100th anniversary of Kadwa Patidar Samaj on Thursday. PM Modi noted the simultaneous milestones of the Samaj’s 100 years of service, the youth wing’s 50th year, and the women’s wing’s 25th year.

“The journey of any nation is reflected in the journey of its society,” PM Modi said, adding that the hundred-year-old history of the Patidar Samaj and the Shri Akhil Bhartiya Kutch Kadwa Samaj’s futuristic vision also provide a medium to understand India and Gujarat.

The prime minister expressed gratitude to the Kadwa Patidar Samaj for involving him in the Sanatani Shatabdi Mahotsav family and reminisced about his engagement with the society as Gujarat’s chief minister. He praised the community’s resilience in the aftermath of the Kutch earthquake and noted Kutch’s transformation into one of India’s fastest-growing districts, citing enhanced connectivity, thriving industries, and increased agricultural exports.

Modi stressed that the resolutions adopted by the Samaj, including social harmony, environmental preservation, and natural farming, align with the country’s Amrit resolve. He concluded by expressing confidence in the Shri Akhil Bhartiya Kutch Kadva Samaj’s efforts to bolster the nation’s objectives and achieve success, reiterating the significance of youth and women’s involvement in society.
